Even though I have a very small garden, it didn't stop me from trying to grow new things in my garden. I think it was end of 2021 or beginning of 2022, I sowed some seeds from a single goji berry or wolf berry. A few seedlings appeared and I kept 4 for myself and gave away the rest to my friends. I now have 4 pots of goji berry plants in my garden.
Goji berry or wolf berry plant.
This photo was taken end of April, 2020.
Middle of July, 2020.
January, 2023.
Finally, after about 3 years, one of my goji berry plants has started to flower.
The first flowers didn't turn into berries. More flowers are appearing on the plants and I am hoping to see some berries on the plant soon. I am also hoping for the other plants to bear flowers.

"I am the true Vine, and my Father is the Gardener.
He lops off every branch that doesn't produce.
and he prunes those branches that bear fruit for even larger crops.
He has already tended you by pruning you back for greater strength
and usefulness by means of the commands I gave you.

Thank you, Vamika.
DeleteGolgi berries are good for treating pimples in Chinese medicine. I used to eat plenty
ReplyDeleteThank you, Roentare. I use them for boiling soup.
DeleteGoodness me, I have never seen a goji berry plant! And now I have :) Gardening needs patience as some plants take years to bear their first blooms. The tiny flowers are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the flowers but so far no sign of the berries.
DeletePlants, fruits, veggies, so intersting!
ReplyDeleteWe have but a small balcony, yet I got strawberry-plants from my parent´s garden years ago - my Mum collected them in the woods "with me" (I was 2 years old) - they have grown leaves so big, but the fruit stays small and sweet!
I would love to plant strawberry too but our weather is not suitable.
DeleteCan plant here? In our weather? Getting more and more expensive - wouldn't mind planting some too!
ReplyDeleteI do hope I will be able to harvest goji berries soon.
DeleteSuch a great garden :) thanks for your sharing...
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy. Congrats on successfully planting goji berries. I wonder how the goji berries are on the plant. Can you please take some photos to show us when they appear?
ReplyDeleteSure will do. I am keeping a sharp look out for the berries.
DeleteA new one to me.
ReplyDeleteHoping to get some berries.
Delete...I love dainty flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom.
DeleteThat's cool! It's still great even though not fruit yet.
ReplyDeleteI do hope to see some berries soon.

DeleteMay you be blessed with berries soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi. I really hope so.
DeleteI love wolfberries. Used in cooking. In vegetable, in soup, in dessert. Now I am thinking of planting, after looking at your plant.
ReplyDeleteDo plant some. If you have space, it is better to plant them in the ground, probably they grow faster and better.
DeleteI'm excited to see if berries appear! If yes.... I shall go raid a few of my goji berries and deprive them of their seeds hehehe.
ReplyDeleteIf I get to see berries, I will let you all know about it.
DeleteEnvy your cute garden :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ashok.

DeleteYour goji berry looks so healthy, Nancy! I'm always impressed with your green fingers. There is a lot of construction in my part of the world just now and it is not doing my plants and good. But we shall persevere.
