I have gone missing for a few days and now I am back again from a short get away.
On the morning of the eve of our short getaway, we still went for our early morning walk at the park. The air was cool and fresh after the heavy downpour the previous evening.

Thank God, the haze has been washed away.
Clear sky and nice sunrise to enjoy.
We drove to town for breakfast.
My craving for nasi lemak on a cool morning.
Mee Jawa is one of hubby's favourite.
Our unsweetened black coffee.

Let me see what I can harvest from my garden to take along to our short getaway. We planned a hot pot dinner up in the cold highlands.
I harvested 2 daikons (white radish) and
a white and green bitter gourds (bitter melons).
The above green bitter gourd (the first fruit) was from the new plant.
My friends love basil so I also harvested some sweet basil.
Next, I harvested 4 cucumbers and a single snake bean to add to the above.
The above is the first fruit of my cucumber plant.
Thank God for His abundant blessing on our garden.

That evening, I cooked a simple dinner.
I cooked half a yam (taro) with dried prawns and kept the other half for the hot pot dinner.
Blanched a small portion beansprouts from the packet I bought for the hot pot.

Don't criticize and speak evil about each other, dear brothers.
If you do, you will be fighting against God's law
of loving one another, declaring it is wrong.
But your job is not to decide whether this law is right
or wrong, but to obey it.
