A friend invited us to join her and her family for dinner to celebrate her birthday. First, we were told the dinner venue will be in Bercham but were later informed that the venue had been changed to East Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Chemor.
A table reservation was made and the dishes were ordered. Once everyone was seated, the dishes were ready to be served.
A very appetizing dish.
Sweet and sour assam mixed seafood.
(fish, prawns, cuttlefish, ladies fingers, tomatoes & onions)
\Sambal belacan kangkong (water convolvulus)
Plain steamed pak soh koong fish (white whiskers cat fish).
Deep fried tofu topped with minced pork.
Deep fried boneless chicken meat.
Steamed 3 types of eggs
(normal fresh eggs, salted eggs & preserved century eggs)
Blanched baby kai lan greens (baby Chinese broccoli).
It was a scrumptious dinner. The choice of dishes suited all age group, from the young to the elderly.
