For the past two weeks or more, it has been raining non-stop. Every morning we woke up to the sound of rain. The sky gray, the whole atmosphere dull and gloomy. Every where is wet.
This morning I woke up feeling cold and hungry. Looking forward for blue sky to cheer us up and desiring a hearty breakfast, we drove to Restoran Blue Sky in Falim for our breakfast.
It was still drizzling when we arrived. It looked like the rain did not stop the early birds like us from coming out for our breakfast.
Restoran Blue Sky is located near Fresh Hotel and two lanes away from Restoran Mandarin Kitchen. Address: Jalan Mas 1, Falim, Ipoh.
I ordered a cup of black coffee without sugar to perk me up and my hubby a glass of hot Chinese Tea.
My hubby ordered his favourite curry mee with all the ingredients added.
This cost MYR 5.00 (approx. 1.22 USD).
I ordered my favourite, fried char kueh with plenty of taugeh, chai poh, chili sauce and egg. This cost MYR 3.30 (approx. 0.81 USD).
After our hearty breakfast, we went out and were greeted by clear blue sky. Full stomachs, happy hearts!
Today I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all my faithful followers of my blog since day one. You all have been so kind and always leaving encouraging comments.
