DINNER AT RESTORAN TUCK KEE

There were days when I would be so hardworking and there were also days when I would be so lazy and just do not have the mood to cook at all. Yesterday was one of my lazy days. Sensing my lazy mood, my hubby suggested that we eat out. I was too lazy to even think of what I want to eat so I left the decision to my hubby.

It took hubby quite a while to decide. He told me that it has been a long time we have not been to Restoran Tuck Kee in Ipoh. We heard there is a New Restoran Tuck Kee but it was closed, so we went back to the original Restoran Tuck Kee.

We arrived before 6 pm and the restaurant was already three quarter filled. We took a small table since there were only two of us. We didn't have to wait long for our food, the service was good.
The first dish to arrive is octopus with onion oil served with spicy sauce.
Octupus tasted good and tender.
Broad noodle fried Hokkien style - for one person.
Wat Tan Hor (koay teow fried Cantonese style) - for one person.
Still enjoying good business. Famous for its Wat Tan Hor for many, many years.

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;
for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work,
just as God did from his.
(Hebrews 4:9-10, New International Version-NIV)
