Simple Dinner At Restoran Ex-Lover, Ipoh

This place was mentioned to me by my ex-colleagues when we met up for one of our breakfast meeting. So on one evening, we came here for our dinner before attending the evening church service.
I do not know about the food yet, but I like the signboard.
Looks like something from yester-years.
These were our drinks.
My dinner - a plate of chicken chop with some coleslaw, french fries, etc.
@ RM5.00
Hubby's dinner - a plate of pork chop with coleslaw, french fries, etc.
With additional piece of pork chop @ RM9.00.
Kitchen is behind the glass panel of the shop.
Took this photo while at the cashier counter.
Took this photo when I passed by one afternoon.
Linked to Skywatch Friday.

My lover has gone down to his garden, to his spice beds,
to browse in the gardens and gather the lilies.
I am my lover's, and my lover is mine.
He browses among the lilies.

  2. I like the signboard too, and find the name of the restaurant funny! I wonder why they call it that. The food is reasonably priced. :D

  4. I'm wondering the same thing about the name of the restaurant. Dinner looks good. I love french fries and I had some yesterday with some deep fried haddock. It tasted so good but I only do this maybe once in a month at a seafood restaurant.

    Have a great weekend.

    1. Hi Julia, it seems everyone including me is curious about the name. RM5 per plate is quite reasonable for the price over here.

  5. The name of the restaurant sounds cheesy. Both sets looks good but one thing they don't come with rice. Enough for you?

  18. What a name for a restaurant. Don't think I want to eat there with a name like that but I guess it is the food that matters, not the name.
