Today, I would like to share some of the wall murals in Ipoh city, drawn by our local artists and which I have not posted yet.
These murals can be found at the back lane between Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street) and Jalan Masjid.
The white building is the UTC Perak - Urban Transformation Centre in Ipoh. On the right is the Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh - Ipoh City Council building.
Painting of Nelson Mandela - an anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist and a President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.
Painting of Bruce Lee - a Hong Kong American martial artist, action film action, martial arts instructor, philosopher, filmmaker and founder of Jeet Kune Do.
Promoting tourism in the state of Perak.
A jungle theme surrounding the tree that has grown in the crack of wall.
Promoting Ipoh's food.
For unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder.
These will be His royal titles:
"Wonderful," "Counselor," "The Mighty God,"
"The Everlasting Father," "The Prince of Peace."
(Isaiah 9:6, The Living Bible-TLB)
