This dinner was postponed twice before the 2 couples could come together for dinner. That evening, hubby and I went ahead to order the food, so that by the time our friends turned up, they need not have to wait long for the food to be served. Our friends were regular patrons of this restaurant.
The time was about 6.50 pm when we started from our house. The sky may not be stunning at this time but it was nice to watch the cloud formation when the sun is setting.
Since I live in a housing estate, I can't avoid the power cable getting into my photos.
One more shot before the sky light calls it a day.
We ordered a deep fried Threadfin fish (mah yau yu in Cantonese) with some soya sauce and oil added to the fried fish.
This was the day's special and everyone's favourite.
Sweet sour stewed pig's trotters with white radish.
Egg Omelette with bbq pork, onions and chives.
Stir fried lettuce with preserved bean curd.
Total cost of dinner inclusive of rice and Chinese tea

It was not long afterwards that he rose into the sky
and disappeared into a cloud, leaving them staring after him.
As they were straining their eyes for another glimpse,
suddenly two white-robed men were standing there among them,
and said,
and said,
"Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky?
Jesus has gone away to heaven, and some day,
just as he went, he will return!"
(Acts 1:9-11, The Living Bible-TLB)
