We passed by this Veterinary building quite often but this is the first time I requested for hubby to stop for me to take snapshots of the animals which can be seen from the road. It was a Sunday morning and the gate was opened and instead of stopping by the roadside, hubby drove through the gate, into the compound.
Veterinary Department, State of Perak.
This pair is so cute! Front or Back, can you see the difference?
So elegant with its head lifted high like doing the cat walk.
This ostrich seemed excited to see us.
All about the Ostrich.
Then I walked to the deer cage.
These two are so loving.
This one was sunbathing.
These prefered the shade.
All about the deer.

Hubby contributed the following photos and videos.
The brave and curious one!
I think it is scolding my hubby for taking its photo. Lol!
It was swinging its head from side to side!
Can you see hubby's shadow?
The whole day was cloudy like this picture.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.
At that moment heaven was opened,
and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove
and alighting on him.
(Matthew 3:16, New International Version-NIV)
...an Ostrich is something that I rarely see, thanks and have a grteat weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe also rarely get to see ostrich here, unless we go to the zoo or the ostrich farm.
DeleteHello, what a great critter post. I love the ostrich photos and the cute video. The deer are pretty too. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen for hosting. Have a beautiful new week!
DeleteOstriches are so funny! To me they are proof that our Creator has a sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteThe ostriches are very entertaining. Great is our Creator!
DeleteIs this near Kampung Simee?
ReplyDeleteYes, Irene. It is the one. Have a wonderful day!
DeleteLike a mini zoo. Happy M'sia day to you all!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. They only have the 2 cages for the ostriches and deer. Have a happy new week!
DeleteLovely capture on the ostriches and cute deer’s! I have seen only emus here and many emu forms came up in our state but all become failure due to defraud. Liked the foggy ambiance you experience there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeevan. It is rainy season here.
DeleteUnique ostrich photos and of course I love the deer ~ so sweet ~ thanks,

ReplyDeleteThank you, Ola. Have a nice new week!
DeleteI have only see an ostrich a few times, and they are amazing! And I love deer. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Have a beautiful new week!
DeleteI believe they do this swaying with their wings out to make themselves look bigger, and scare off any predators. So this is not a vet for people's pets. Where do the animals come from? Do they treat injured wildlife that people bring them?
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, I do not know why the ostriches and deer were kept there. This is where the people's pets do for their treatment, including wild life. Have a wonderful new week!
DeleteGreat close up shots of ostrich.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rajesh. Have a great new week!
DeleteWhat a fun place. Loved the pictures and the videos.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Thank you, Sandee. Have a fabulous new week!
DeleteThe male ostrich has the black feathers and the female has the grey. Great photos have a good day Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane for the info. No wonder the black ostrich is more active than the grey one. Have a great weekend!
DeleteBuenas fotos de estos simpáticos animales, tampoco yo hubiera resistido la tentación de fotografiarlos pasando cada día por la puerta.
ReplyDeleteBesos
We have time to spare so we were able to stop for the photos. Have a lovely new week!
DeleteI loved your photos of the ostriches Nancy! I had to look closely to see which end was which!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christine. That photo also confuses me. Have a good new week!
DeleteThose ostrich pictures are lots of gun, I don't see them often. I laughed at the brave and curious one. Ominous last shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanna. I was very wondering why it was swinging from side to side. Maybe it is trying to frighten us off.
DeleteThat seems a very small space for both the ostriches and deer. In the wild they cover miles and miles of territory. I'm sad to see animals kept in such small confines.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is only temporary. They would love being in the open to roam about freely.
DeletePretty cool that you can just drive up and take photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yogi. Don't know how long the animals will be kept there. Have a beautiful new week!
DeleteAmazing photos, not something you see very often.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas. This is a rare opportunity indeed! Have a good new week!
