Last Saturday morning when I was in my garden watering my plants, I saw 2 trucks and then saw these workers being lifted up to do some work on the electric pole opposite my house.
But they were doing something else.
In between watering the plants, I stopped to take these pictures.
It was a cool day for them.
Thank God for these people whose work contributed to a continuous power supply to our homes and light up our streets.
After they had done with the first pole, they moved to the next pole.

More than a week later at a traffic light.
There in front of me, I noticed someone changing a street light bulb.
I quickly took these 2 pictures before the traffic light turned green.

DeleteThere are a lot of worker trying to get the power back on in Florida and other infected areas from Irma. They sure appreciate all the hard work too.

Have a fabulous day, Nancy. ☺
In places like Florida and during such times, the workers have to work extra hard and round the clock to restore power.
DeleteBeautiful murals. I too am always grateful for the people who repair and maintain our services.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is easy for consumers to complain when they are slow but are seldom appreciative when they did a quick job.
DeleteThe wall art for the camp is awesome! Any child who sees it would want to go! The polka dots remind me of cows! Well....we have a lot around here. The men who do this kind of work are so hard working and brave! especially the line workers.
ReplyDeleteOur cows do not have polka dots, they are usually brown or black. How nice if they have polka dots. Lol! The job the workers do are dangerous jobs.
