On this one particular morning, we reached the recreational park about 6.50 am. It was still quite dark but there were a comfortable number of people around to feel safe. Just before we started our walk, I quickly took 2 snapshots of the sky which was just beginning to light up.

Slightly after 12 noon, a friend called up. She was on leave, slept in and was looking for lunch companion. She wanted to invite hubby and I for lunch and will be coming over to pick us up in a short while. She took us to Kui Lao Ban Mee, she had been craving for this "ban mee" noodle.
Fried bean curd sheets soaked in soup.
2 bowls of "ban mee" noodles in soup for my friend and I.
(2 pork balls, fried anchovies, minced pork, and sweet leaf veggie)
Hubby likes "ban mee" in the dry spicy version.
For the dry version, the meat balls in soup is served separately.
Honey lemon drink for me. Coffee for our friend and hubby.
Thanks for the lunch treat, my friend!
