2 Fridays ago, the 4 of us planned to have dinner in Ipoh old town. We were early and by the time we parked our car it was about 6:25 pm.
I remembered I have shared this image of this newly renovated building and the image of the old building (below) in one of my previous posts.
An abandoned place (still) waiting for someone to do something.
The food stall that we were looking for was not there. We stopped to have soy bean curd (tau fu fah) at the Concubine Lane just before they closed up for the day.

Next, we drove to the next place and found the restaurant fully packed. Finally, we ended up in Kopitiam 1 Curve, Desa Rishah for dinner. We have not been here for a long time.
Stir fried sweet potato leaves with fermented tofu (fu yee).
Pork belly slices stewed with salted fish in a clay pot.
Nyonya sambal fish slices.
Deep fried nam yee chicken wings.

The following photos are for Saturday's Critters.
Sunrise at the park - 6:30 am
Dogs too come to the park to exercise.
This one found something nice to chew on.
These 2 dogs are counting their steps.
All the walking toughens me and makes me healthy.
Sorry for this blur image but I think it looks like a water colour painting.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
In the same way,
we can see and understand only a little about God now,
as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror;
but someday we are going to see him in his completeness,
face to face.
Now all that I know is hazy and blurred,
but then I will see everything clearly,
just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.

Wow, the handyman did a great job turning the abandon building into a beautiful and nice one.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of money and good workmanship to restore the rundown building into one that looks like new.
Delete...your two buildings sure are different, I hope someone restores the second one.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Cloudia. Have a blessed week too!
DeleteCute doggies!
ReplyDeleteThank you, William.
DeleteThe new design is all modern... retaining some of the old would have been nice. Still, guess it wasn't meant to be a hotel or anything so someone else can do that.
ReplyDeleteNo idea what they are using the new building for...looks like some kind of association.
DeleteThe blurred photo looks just like a painting, nice that the dogs meet up at the park.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas!
DeleteFeliz día. Un beso.

DeleteThank you, dear.
ReplyDeleteYou would hardly believe that it is the same building. Great job - and great food you had too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, David. Actually it is not the same building but the buildings are on the same row.
