We have decided to visit Penang Hill instead of spending time window shopping in one of the shopping malls in Penang. First thing on our mind after leaving the apartment is to fill our tummies with breakfast.
Prawn noodle, fried noodle (Penang char koay teow), curry noodle and etc.
The prawn noodle was delicious and so was the above curry noodle.
Here we are at the base of Penang Hill. This is my 2nd visit to Penang Hill after many years after the 1st visit.
The above sculpture is made from disused parts of funicular system. This sculpture comprises 20 numbers of shifter wheels, 70 metres of wire rope and 18 metres of rail track. Accentuated with fused colour glass - LLA Fuan Wong Collaboration.
We bought tickets and entered this passageway.
We seniors have special ticket discount.

Bellevue Hotel, Penang Hill.
Shutter service.
We wanted to try this "Penang Best" char koay teow (fried flat rice noodle).
This is his simple stove.
We sat opposite this cafe in the open air.
We ordered 2 plates of Penang fried noodle with prawns to share. We are leaving space in our tummies for some delicious sweet desserts.
This fried noodle is indeed very special because it was served with some crispy bits. To me the crispy bits look like deep fried chicken skin.
The old coach on display.
Another cafe enjoying beautiful sky view.
We had a hard time choosing from these beautiful and tempting varieties.
Ice cream in cone.
These were for 6 people to share.
Ice kacang with assorted ingredients with 1 scoop ice cream.
Sweet mango with 1 scoop ice cream.
Sweet mango with 1 scoop ice cream.
Going downhill - we chose the first coach to get a better view.
Reaching the short tunnel.
It was a pleasant and enjoyable ride both ways.

Before I end the post, here are some night scene photos taken the night before at the beach in Jelutong.
