This was a Saturday. Our day started with the following sunrise shots.
Sunrise at 6:55am
Sunrise at 7:10am
Sunrise at 7:20am
For breakfast, hubby went out to buy stewed chicken feet with beehoon dry stirred with soy sauce. He also bought 2 pieces of fried stuffs. As for me, I don't want noodle. I want to finish off the 2 remaining "heong peang" with black coffee and 2 pieces of crackers.
For lunch, we received 2 packets of chee cheong fun with 2 pieces of fried bean curd sheet from our neighbour.
For dinner, we drove out to buy 2 sets of wonton noodles from Cheong Kee Wan Tan Mee, Buntong Village.
We add extra wan tan or minced pork dumplings.
Sweet potato leaves.
The above batch of sweet potato leaves has provided us with plentiful harvest. I have finally cleared all the old sweet potato vines from the front garden patch. Hope to replant a new batch soon.

Then the nations around you that remain will know that
I the LORD have rebuilt what was destroyed
and have replanted what was desolate.
I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.
I used to plant sweet potato leaves too and it grew very well, started creeping all over the place and getting out of control and we were getting tired of eating so I got rid of them.
ReplyDeleteGosh!!! Maybe it is psychological but I would like to have rice at least once a day. LOL!!!
Actually, we will get tired of eating whatever we plant in our garden. That is why when we have more than we can consume, we will harvest and share with neighbours and friends.
DeleteChicken feet?!!! Huh. I´d skip. That´s way too exotic for me!
ReplyDeleteIngo sometimes buys Italian stuffed pig feet and I always have to look away, LOL.
I rather would go for the potatoe leaves ;-)
Haha, sorry Iris. I agree that chicken feet is far too exotic for some people.
DeleteI want some chicken claws! The crackers are looking good too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie.
DeleteI will order chicken feet whenever I go eat dimsum. I love to eat sweet potato leaves and tapioca leaves. Happy mid week Nancy.
ReplyDeleteIf we were to order chicken feet at dim sum restaurant, one or two plates will not be enough, so to really enjoy it, I have to cook it myself.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. When I feel like eating sweet potato leaves, I will buy a bunch and use the stems to grow. Meanwhile, I will let the ground rest first.
