Traditional Banana Leaf Lunch At Daddy Food Cafe, Ipoh

Our friend has found a new place where we can enjoy a nice lunch served on a banana leaf.

Daddy Food Cafe, opens from Mon to Sat, 10am to 4pm.
Serves banana leaf meals.
Entrance to the cafe.
A home converted into a cafe.
After walking through the entrance, let us check out the food.
All food freshly cooked and kept warm.
Different types of fried fish.
Mutton curry.
We ordered different varieties to taste, all served in small portions.
Sorry, I was eager to taste the delicious home cooked food that I totally forgot to take snapshots of what we have ordered for our lunch.
Hubby and I ordered the iced syrup water.
Thanks to our friend for this delightful and tasty banana leaf lunch.
If you are interested to dine-in or order food delivery....

That evening, hubby and I were in our car, on our way home.
I took the following snapshots.
About 7:30pm
While driving on an overhead bridge.
About 7:40pm.
Praise the Lord, O heavens! Praise him from the skies!
Praise him, all his angels, all the armies of heaven.
Praise him, sun and moon and all you twinkling stars.
Praise him, skies above. Praise him, vapors high above the clouds.
(Psalm 148:1-4, The Living Bible-TLB)

    1. Sorry that I didn't photos of the food we order. The banana leaf is used as plate, the rice, curries and food are placed on it and traditionally, suppose to eat with out hands. But we asked for fork and spoons.
