From the esplanade waterfront walk, we drove to this place that is called Laksalicious.
We were told that this place serves both Assam Laksa and Laksa Lemak.

Our friends did the ordering because they have been here and they know what is good.
I ordered this appetizing drink called Laksa Tea @ RM9.90.
I can't remember what it is called but it has small pieces of lemon grass, bunga kantang or edible torch ginger, pineapple, cucumber, mint leaves, etc., in the drink.
1 bowl of Mixed Laksa (assam + lemak laksa) and 1 bowl of Nyonya Laksa (lemak). Laksa per bowl costs RM10.90. Each bowl of laksa has a piece of deep fried flour fritter.
Two bowls of iced cendol for sharing (RM7.90 per bowl).
Delicious cendol with thick coconut milk (santan) and palm sugar.

Yam paste rolls @ RM4.90 per plate.
Crispy prawn fritters, 3 pieces @ RM10.90.
Total cost for this laksa lunch = RM65.30.
We bought a few packs of frozen laksa the next day to take home to Ipoh.

We were surprised to see this in Penang. A bread or "roti" man using a tricycle to sell bread and other snacks. Those days, we have bread men riding on this tricycle, going to the residential areas and we will know by the "ting-ting" sound when he hits on the bell attached to his tricycle.
Giving preferred treatment to rich people is a clear case
of selling one's soul for a piece of bread.
