Hong Kong, Day 3 - Macau, Sightseeing #1.
When we exited from the Macau Ferry Terminal, we took a bus to the City of Dreams hotel and casino located in the heart of Cotai.
Below are random photos taken in Macau. These were taken from a moving bus, travelling on the bridge to Cotai.
The tall building in the centre is the Grand Lisbao Hotel, Macau.
Macau Science Centre (left) and the tall tower is the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre.
Lovely view from the bus on the bridge
Hotel Venetian
Hotel Venetian
Hotel Okura
Reached City of Dreams Hotel & Casino, saw this in front of hotel.
View of casino through the entrance taken from the lobby. Hubby and I went in and took a look around the casino.
At the lobby, there is a virtual underwater world aquarium. At intervals, 2 mermaids will appear to do a water dance together with underwater creatures.
The place we alighted from the bus. See these hanging pots of flowers.
Finally, crossing the busy road looking for Macau's famous food to eat before we continue our tour of Macau.
When you enter your neighbor's vineyard,
you may eat your fill of grapes,
but you must not carry any away in a basket.
And when you enter your neighbor's field of grain,
you may pluck the heads of grain with your hand,
but you must not harvest it with a sickle.
(Deuteronomy 23:24-25, New Living Translation-NLT)
Quite a beautiful city... and a lot of wealth!
ReplyDeleteMacau is one of the world's richest place.
Deleteall hotels are very impressive but the best is Okura Hotel. Lovely city.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get to visit the other hotels because of time constraint.
DeleteMost of the buildings are tall. You got talent in taking photos. Look amazing. The mermaid, is it for real?
ReplyDeleteHa haa..Irene, I think it is just by chance only. With the bus moving, I just snap photos and delete whatever does not turn out well..lol! I think the mermaids are real humans wearing tail costumes swimming in the aquarium.
