Dinner At Restoran Mun Ji, Menglembu.

Whenever we think of fish head curry, one of the restaurants that comes to our mind is Restoran Mun Ji in Menglembu. A church friend introduced this place to us when he invited us for dinner one night and since then, we have been coming here on and off. Recently, we were here with some friends for dinner at Restoran Mun Ji at 1, Laluan Rasi Jaya 2, Taman Rasi Jaya. Tel: 016-5437707.
A must order - A pot of fish head curry with lots of ingredients.
Amarath Green (yin choy) with century egg, salted egg, normal egg in special broth.
Deep fried tofu topped with preserved salted white raddish.
Stewed Pork Belly (tung poh yoke).
A vegetarian dish - cannot remember the name.
Stewed Pig trotter with salted fish.
Spicy sambal Stinking beans with prawns.
I cannot remember the cost of dinner.

  2. The food photos have left my mouth watering Nancy as it all looks so good. Although I'm not too keen on the sound of "Stinking Beans", I think I'd leave them on the side of my plate. Maybe they're nice but they sound really gross.
Love the old Harley Davidson sign. A real collectors item by the looks of it.

    1. Thank you, Tony. The beans are not stinking when you eat them. It is only after they are digested and they come out stinking! Lol!

    1. It took me a long time to overcome the name "stinking bean". I really thought it stinks when we eat it but it is the after effect that is terrible. Lol!

  23. They have a lot of variety! Here, we do not eat fish heads. We only use them to make broth. The amarath green looks like it would be my favorite. We have a Harley Davidson place here! Many motorcycles on the roads.
