Assam Laksa Noodles Under Shady Trees in Gunung Rapat.

Two Fridays ago, a message came on the Whatsapp and it said, "I am hungry, I feel like eating laksa." It was about 2 pm and I replied, "Yes, I am keen!" Then another message said, "I want also, please come and fetch me from my house."
 And that was how we came to this roadside stall in Gunung Rapat. It is located along Persiaran Gunung Rapat 6, next to the Dewan Tokong Fook Tat Chee (temple hall).
 It opens daily from 12.30 pm and rests (off day) on Wednesday.
 An appetizing, mouth watering bowl of laksa.
2 bowls of laksa noodles for 3 aunties plus...
a bowl of fish cakes, fish balls, tofu, etc.
And one of the best iced lemon drinks with sour plum from the neighboring stall.

"Law and order have collapsed," we are told.
"What can the righteous do but flee?"
But the Lord is still in his holy temple;
he still rules from heaven.
He closely watches everything that happens here on earth.
He puts the righteous and the wicked to the test;
he hates those loving violence.
He will rain down fire and brimstone on the wicked
and scorch them with his burning wind.
For God is good, and he loves goodness;
the godly shall see his face.
(Psalm 11:4-7, The Living Bible-TLB)

  2. The original lady selling the ice lemon tea has passed on few months ago. One of the best and cheap ice lemon teas around. Not the same without her around anymore. The Rojak is also good there. Opposite corner house is a tofu factory which this Laksa lady gets her tofu from

  13. Hello Nancy!:) Some interesting signs and murals, and I especially like the toadstools and the moterbike images. The noodles look good, and it looks like a pleasant place to enjoy a meal in the roadside café.

    1. Thank you, Breathtaking. These roadside stalls/cafe are getting rarer these days. Many are forced into shops.
