Thought of chicken rice so hubby went out to buy 2 packets.
Chicken rice with char siew (bbq pork).
Hubby requested for the plain white rice.
This round we have lots of self propagated cockscomb plants in our front garden and they are all flowering.
Simple dinner with plain rice porridge, canned braised peanuts, pickled lettuce, and stuffed fish.
My neighbour bought 2 stuffed fish for us when she went out to buy lunch. I cut off the heads and tails from the fishes to fit into the metal plate. To heat up for dinner, I steamed the fishes covered.

If you will only listen and obey the commandments of the Lord
your God that I am giving you today,
he will make you the head and not the tail,
and you shall always have the upper hand.
But each of these blessings depends on your not turning aside
in any way from the laws I have given you;
and you must never worship other gods.

ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't your hubby want chicken rice? I would love that if it is good - some here are really not good, might as well have plain rice. Ooooo...the stuffed fish!!! Gotta go looking for those one of these days.

I don't think it will be soon because of the increasing numbers of positive cases and new clusters.
DeleteA great place to walk, rest and relax. And if you add the delicious fish dishes that I love, it would be a real summer paradise for me.

DeleteLovely photos of your neighbourhood. I used to love char siew but can't have any meat from pig because my gall bladder should be removed, but the operation is too high risk for me. It means I have to be very careful of what I eat instead.
