Fish Wine Noodle, Hokkien Mee And 4 Treasures Rice Porridge

This was 2 Saturdays ago (17th July).

Sunrise at 6:52am, before we start our morning walk.

A plane leaving behind trails in the sky.

We went out together in our car.

Hubby bought breakfast while I went to get some vegetables.

Fish noodle with wine and some fried items.

1 portion of fish noodle (RM9 per portion) is enough for the 2 of us. Ingredients consist of beehoon, fried fish chunks, pickled veg (hum choy), green veg (choy sum), napa cabbage, tomato, ginger strips and Chinese cooking wine. I like to add bird's eye chilies to my bowl for extra kick (oomph).

We pass by these Sleeping hibiscus flowers every morning.

Hubby went out to buy Hokkien fried fat/thick noodle from a new stall.

1 portion for 2 people to share.

After so many years, I still miss the Hokkien fried mee from Petaling Street, KL.

We spotted this big bird perched on top of the power cable pole.

 I managed to take these snapshot from where I was with my hand phone before it flew to another place.

From this new position, I managed to get slightly clearer images of the bird.

Home cooked dinner.

This time I cooked 4 treasures rice porridge instead of 5 treasures rice porridge because I want to keep the century egg to eat with the pickled ginger.

4 treasures rice porridge

Ingredients: roasted pork bones, minced pork, salted egg & pickled mustard (char choy).

Sauteed napa cabbage and carrot with garlic and salt to taste.

Light dinner for a warm evening.

I know very little about birds. Don't know whether this is an eagle or a hawk.

Can someone help to identify this bird?
