No morning walk and no sunrise to share because it was raining in the early morning. So we drove out to our regular coffee shop for breakfast.
Unsweetened milo (milo-O) for me and Chinese tea for hubby.
Pork noodle (yee mee) for hubby.
Shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun) for me.
The seller added chicken liver because he thought the noodle was for hubby. I don't like liver, so I passed all the lives pieces to hubby.

Back home in my garden.
I harvested 2 purple brinjals and 1 fig.
I harvest 4 custard apples but threw one away because it was over ripe and had gone mushy.
I also harvested these green brinjals.
I will be sowing some seeds since I have cleared away most of the old plants.
These are the rewards that make my gardening worthwhile.
Sunset at 7:25pm.

Hallelujah!
O servants of Jehovah, praise his name.
Blessed is his name forever and forever.
Praise him from sunrise to sunset!
For he is high above the nations;
his glory is far greater than the heavens.
(Psalm 113:1-4, The Living Bible-TLB)
That is a good harvest from your garden. Cute brinjals.

ReplyDeleteWhen the custard apples soften, I will eat them raw just like any normal fruits. I also ate the fig raw.

DeleteHi Nancy :=) I would have chosen the shredded chicken, but I also don't like the taste of liver of any kind of animal. I love that you grow your own vegetables are are so successful at it, but many things like Custard Apples are new to me.

ReplyDeleteThe purple fruit is a custard apple. When ripe, the flesh inside is white, soft and sweet with black seeds.
