This was the last Monday of June, last month.
We set out on our morning walk at about 6:45am.
We finished our walk at about 7:45am.
We drove to Gopeng and had rice noodle (lai fun) for breakfast. After breakfast, we had durians at the roadside stall. I didn't take any photo of breakfast and the durians.
But I did take 2 photos of this building of a goldsmith shop.
What attracted me to this building is these designs on the front of the building. After our breakfast and having enjoyed some durians, we drove back to Ipoh and loiter (lepak) in Aeon Big Falim Shopping Mall, Ipoh.
There was a band and singer busking, playing and singing nice oldies.
Later we left for home and rested in our place until it was time for dinner.
Our friends suggested this place for dinner because we were looking forward to enjoy some Chinese fruit rojak after dinner.
Blanched sweet potato leaves.
Steamed lala (clams).
Chicken and potato curry.
Steamed fish with savoury sauce.
4 dishes for 4 people.
We were disappointed that the Chinese fruit rojak stall was closed and has shifted elsewhere but we don't know where.
The more lowly your service to others, the greater you are.
To be the greatest, be a servant.
But those who think themselves great
shall be disappointed and humbled;
and those who humble themselves shall be exalted.
(Matthew 23:11-12, The Living Bible-TLB)
that's a very sumptuous meal! i like all the dishes especially the curry chicken.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nux. Overall, the food is good.
DeleteI was looking at these dishes in my folder a moment ago too.... Nice dishes... and reasonable prices there..
ReplyDeleteIt took me a long time to figure out where we had this dinner. Lol!

DeleteOoooo...I'd love that plate of steamed lala and the curry looks good too. The fish looks like tilapia.
ReplyDeleteThank you, STP. Yes, it is tilapia.
DeleteThank you Nancy for all the photos because it allows me to see the world through your camera. Tasty food for Dinner At Restoran WSF 33, Taman Hoover. This wsf 33 looks like a warehouse. Does it have air conditioning in the dining area?
ReplyDeleteI don't know its origin but it is a food court with food stalls. Not air-con but there are fans plus 1 giant fan.
DeleteYour yellow Hibiscus is lovely! The weather is so hot and dry that some of my plants have wilted. I like all the dishes you had for dinner.
ReplyDeleteThank you, PH. It was morning and the yellow hibiscus has not fully bloom yet. With this hot weather, I have to water the vegetable plot 2 times a day.
DeleteSounds like a fun-yum day! And thank you for the reminder - must check if we have a busker´s festival this year!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have busker's festival.
DeleteI also liked the face of the goldsmith shop and a lovely flower from your garden! Delicious dinner
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeevan.
DeleteThe restaurant people were no help in finding out where the rojak stall went?
ReplyDeleteYa so disappointing when you specifically planned to have the rojak.
We asked one or two people but no one knows.
