Exploring The Grounds Of The Homestay, Kuala Lumpur

The morning after the wedding dinner, we were all awake and ready by about 8:30 am. First, we went down to explore the grounds and garden of the homestay before breakfast.
Taking the lift and walking along the connecting bridge.
This place has a big and beautiful swimming pool.
It was a pity that I didn't pack my swimsuit.
Plenty of places for residents to rest.
Ample places for bbq party with family and friends.
Our homestay is in one of the units up there.
Residents can enjoy walking or strolling in the spacious garden.
Or take along a book to read.
Residents can enjoy aqua cycling here.
I couldn't get a clear snapshot of the aqua cycles in the water.
A stream in the midst of the garden.
Man made waterfall and pond.
After this, we went to a nearby eatery to take a light breakfast.
We returned to the homestay to get ready to check out.

Wedding Dinner At The Saujana Hotel Ballroom, Kuala Lumpur

None of us know the way to The Saujana Hotel so our driver had to use Waze to direct us. We reached the hotel when the guests were having their refreshment. We were invited to join in and we took some light snacks before taking a walk to explore the hotel grounds. We have plenty of time to snap photos before dinner.
 Swimming pool
 Water fountain in the lake
Our mobile phone cameras were kept busy taking pictures.
The weather was not too warm, nice to stroll and take pictures.
6:00 pm - reflection of the setting sun in the water.
 Time to get back indoor.
Table gift - A small bottle of honey for each guest.
I only managed to take a few photos, so here is the list of dishes we had.
1st dish - Saujana Royal Combination Platter.
2nd dish - Double boiled dried mushroom and scallop soup.
3rd dish - Steamed Red Snapper Fish
4th dish - Roast Chicken with percik sauce and fried "man tao" buns.
5th & 6th dish - no photo.
7th dish - Steamed mini glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf.
This is the glutinous rice inside the lotus leaf.
I only took this snapshot after I eaten of it.
The evening ended with more photos taken with the hosts and the newly wedded couple.

House Viewing In Kuala Lumpur Before Check-In

After breakfast in Kampar, we spend some time checking out some of the stalls in the morning market which was near to where we parked the car. Then we got into the car and hit the road to Kuala Lumpur. It was a nice cool day for travelling. We chatted and laughed in the car while some took short nap. We reached the city around midday. We stopped to check out some property that was opened for viewing.
Layout plan of the new development project.
I took this photo of the front garden from the lobby.
The project site is on the right side.
A view of the pond and garden from above.
The surround view from the developer's office.
We were taken to view the different types of units.
Most of the smaller units were sold out.
Nice landscaped garden to promote sales.
One of the bedrooms in one of the units for viewing.
Dining table setting for small family.
Kitchen area - very simple and neat.
Our friends getting ideas to furnish their new homes.
A colourful building nearby.
Before we left, we were invited to sign up for some fun activities.
We get to pick one of these cute display items.
And for those interested, we got to learn how to mix our own perfume and essential oil.
Plus, we got to pick up some free gifts from the lucky draw box.
Next, time to check into our homestay.
We had a heavy breakfast, so we had fruits (persimmons and pineapple) for lunch.
Beautiful view from our homestay from the 20th floor.
Floating white clouds and distant mountains.
Since most of us got up early, some of us needed to take a short nap before getting ready for the wedding dinner.

Below is a weighing machine which I have not seen before.
I saw this at the morning Flea Market.

but the resentment caused by a fool is even heavier.

Stopping For Breakfast On The Way To Kuala Lumpur.

We were invited to a wedding ceremony and dinner in Kuala Lumpur. A friend volunteered to provide transport to Kuala Lumpur and back to Ipoh the next day. Last Saturday morning, on our way to Kuala Lumpur, we stopped for breakfast in Kampar.
Food court in Kampar, near the market.
This is my first breakfast here in this food court.
First stop, to pack the savoury glutinous rice with bbq pork just beside the food court.
We have to wait for our turn.
We bought 2 packets of the above savoury glutinous rice with bbq pork and fried peanuts for 5 people to share.
A friend ordered a bowl of rice noodles (lai fun) in clear soup.
A lots of "liew" or fish balls, tofu, bean curd skins, and etc. for sharing.
Amother 2 friends ordered the above "wonton" noodles with the wontons or dumplings.
A plate of curry chee cheong fun (steamed rice rolls).
A packet of the above deep fried crunchy prawn fritters for sharing.
More tidbits such as the above sweet cakes or kuih.
We didn't buy the deep fried stuff (left) even though tempted.
This man sits on a low stool to fry the noodles on a low stove. We also wanted to try this fried noodle but we didn't have the time to wait for about an hour. We needed to get back on the road and continue our way to Kuala Lumpur.

live only to please themselves,
but those who follow after the Holy Spirit
find themselves doing those things that please God.
