Breakfast At The Lubiantan Restaurant, Ipoh.

Last Friday was my day out with my friend to pay our bills and to take breakfast together. My friend wanted to introduce me to a new place. The name of the place is The Lubiantan Restaurant. I was told that it means roadside stall because they once had a roadside stall business. This cafe is located on the 1st floor while the ground floor is especially for durian lovers.

 Let us go for breakfast first.
Menu
Kopi C for me and Milo kaw for my friend.
Curry noodle for me. Fish and meat balls noodle for my friend.
Fish balls, tendon balls and meat balls plus noodles in clear soup @ RM 7.80
Signature Curry noodles with lots of ingredients @ RM 9.80.
The colour may be red but it is not very spicy.
I have to wait till the other customers left before I could take this picture.
Lunch is served after 11 am.
Thanks to my friend for picking up the tab for our breakfast.
~~~~~
For durian lovers, you can proceed to the ground floor for fresh durians or durian desserts.
The Lubiantan Restaurant,
No. 56A, Jalan Theatre, Taman Jubilee, 30000 Ipoh.
Entrance to Fruit R US.
Sitting places for those who wants to enjoy some durian desserts.
Delicious and fresh branded durians from Pahang.
Durian burnt cheese cake, durian cheese cake & durian layer cake.
We didn't stop for durian desserts because my friend is not a fan of durians.
We went opposite to buy some salted egg yolk with meat floss biscuits.
I bought 5 pieces.
I love the salted egg yolk and meat floss filling.
For lunch, I made Antong Special Golden Roast instant coffee.
This was my light lunch: Salted egg yolk with meat floss biscuit with instant coffee.
In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing
so that no one can speak a word of blame against you.
You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a
dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn.
Shine out among them like beacon lights,
holding out to them the Word of Life.
The important thing to remember
is that our remaining time is very short,
and so are our opportunities for doing the Lord's work.
For that reason those who have wives
should stay as free as possible for the Lord;
happiness or sadness or wealth
should not keep anyone from doing God's work.
BBQ Stuffed Pork Intestine & Noodles Meatballs Soup
Today is 16th day MCO. For the past few days, hubby has been keeping himself occupied by repainting the garden walls.
The repainting is almost done.
He will probably think of another project to keep himself busy while I take care of the housework and the cooking.
Yesterday's breakfast.
French toast and bread for dipping into half boiled eggs.
After breakfast, I harvested the above from my garden.
Later in the morning, a friend called me to collect the above vegetable from her stall. This is "kau kee choy" or wolf berry leaves which is usually used for making soup.
Hubby went out to buy BBQ stuffed pork intestine which we had for lunch. Only this, nothing else. Our friend called us again to collect 2 more green vegetables. No photo to show but they are mustard green (choy sum) and baby Chinese cabbage (siew bok choy). These green leafy vegetables can't keep for long, so I decided to cook noodle soup with them.
Hubby's noodle and meatballs soup with choy sum with "pei tan" or century egg. The noodle is non fried dried Cintan noodle.
My noodle and meatball soup with "kau kee choy" and egg.
I used wheat flour noodle or "meesua" which hubby doesn't eat.
Our dinner with bird's eye chili in soy sauce for dipping.
One late morning when the sun was up, I was trying to take a snapshot of the cassava or tapioca plants. It ended up with my shadow in the snapshot.
Next to the cassava or tapioca plants, I planted a row of taro or yam plants.
Both the cassava and taro will take about a year before they are ready for harvest.
He waters the earth to make it fertile.
The rivers of God will not run dry!
He prepares the earth for his people and
sends them rich harvests of grain.
Lunch At Go Noodles, Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru.
This happened on a Friday and a public holiday! Our lunch venue for that day was the Go Noodles at the Paradigm Mall. By the time we reached the mall, it was midday. The lunch crowd was already there before us and we had to wait to be seated.
 My bowl of noodles with bursting meat balls.
I like this super hot chili to go with my noodles and meat balls.
 Add on - pieces of sweet meat.
 Pieces of meat rolls partially hidden by the sweet meat.
 Crispy deep fried beancurd sheet
 Mini Chinese crullers or youtiao with kaya (coconut milk & egg jam)
 Lunch crowd. Good thing the service was fast.
 If you like the food, hit the gong once!
 Decoration at the mall.
 Wall decoration at the mall.
As he was leaving the Temple that day, one of his disciples said,
"Teacher, what beautiful buildings these are!
Look at the decorated stonework on the walls."
