On the same morning before we visited Ipoh Concubine Lane, we set out to do our errands early in the morning.
We prefer to go out in the early morning before it gets too hot.
We enjoyed the cool morning without the glaring sun.
I was busy taking snapshots while my friend drove the car.
There is less traffic after the morning rush hour.
Workers sweeping the street near the fencing on the left.
More fences on the left.
On the left is the Catholic Church.
Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Jalan Silibin, Ipoh.
We were here having our breakfast at the Yik Sun Hakka Mee shop at Jalan Panglima. The Concubine Lane is the next lane behind this shop.
We both ordered a plate of Hakka mee each, with minced meat topping.
We ordered 2 pieces each of stuffed tofu, minced pork balls, beef balls (big and small).
We also ordered a bowl of beef slices (medium cooked).
When I was still working, my colleagues and I used to frequent this Hakka mee shop.

Yik Sun Hakka Mee, Jalan Panglima, Ipoh.
It is the 2nd shop after 'All Inn Cafe'.
Sorry about this hurried snapshot. Lol! We were in a rush.

I also prefer to go early to do things, but not too early for me, hehe...
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, we usually go out about 8 to 8.30 am to do our things. Have a great day!
DeleteLoves the foods you all ordered...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. Have a lovely day!
DeleteGoing out to eat so early. The sky is still dark. Am a noodle lover. Definitely I love the Hakka noodles. The noodles looks like mee pok, slightly different from Kuching Hakka noodles. I prefer the stuffed tofu with meat balls, beef balls than that bowl of beef slices. All in all everything looks nice.
ReplyDeleteHi Irene, one day I must try Kuching Hakka noodles. I too love the meat balls, stuffed tofu and beef balls. Have a great day!
DeleteI like to eat the stuffed tofu. Here, after morning rush hour means after 9.30am which is not that early anymore. Enjoy your evening!
ReplyDeleteHi Mun, during my working days, the stuffed tofu was doubled the size of current ones. I used to order 1 tofu but now 1 order 2 tofu. Have a happy day!
DeleteI love to get out and about early too, but I am not sure I would want to eat so early. The food does look good though so maybe I would be tempted.
ReplyDeleteI used to eat my breakfast very late. But as I grow older, I like my breakfast early. These are yummy food, you will surely be tempted! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteYes, we do eat out quite often. Over here it is sometimes cheaper eating out than home cooking for 2 persons. Have a lovely day!
DeleteYou must like to go out a lot. I couldn't possibly go out to eat in restaurants so often.
ReplyDeleteI need to know what is in my food for health reason and I need to know where it comes from.
I like to prepare the dishes myself.
I just couldn't do what you do.
Hugs,
JB

DeleteYou must get up early to catch the sky at such an early hour. - Is it common to eat noodles for breakfast there? Sort of like cereal here one would think.
ReplyDeleteHi, Ida. We usually go out about 7 to 7.30 am in the morning. It is monsoon season and the sky are not always bright and sunny. Over here, having noodles for breakfast is a common thing for most of us. Have a fabulous day!
DeleteYou have some more beautiful sky shots here Nancy.
ReplyDeleteHi Monica, watching the sky is a hobby of mine. It is always changing and never boring. Have a beautiful day!
DeleteIt's funny--I work at home, so I can do my errands whenever I want. I still find myself avoiding rush hour and lunch hour. So anytime after 9 but before 11...not much of a window there!
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie, since our time is our own time and flexible, we can choose to avoid the rush hour and lunch hour. We prefer the earlier hours and at the same time have our breakfast too. Have a great day!
