This is the continuation of an earlier post on Ipoh Concubine Lane #1 which I have posted 3 days ago. If you have missed it, you can click here to read about it. The photos in today's post and the next one were all taken from the same building in Ipoh Concubine Lane.
Before entering this building, I looked up and saw above me just below the 1st floor windows these pots of artificial roses.
Baby cactus plants for sale. I was very tempted to buy some but I didn't.
This "I love Concubine Lane" sign is facing the front door.
Pay MYR 1.00 (approx. 0.24 USD) into this red post box before going upstairs to view all the antique things.
At the foot of the stairs, a cute antique phone hanging on a wooden door.
Old records hanging on the wall and on the side of staircase.
More old records hanging on the railing on 1st level.
1st level with wooden flooring. There is a big granite grinder and a small mortar and pestle. Enamel wash basins, a pair of wooden clogs, an enamel potty are a must for the newly weds in the olden days and for those still following the traditional customs.
An antique sewing machine, a record player, a type writer are among the antiques on display.
A replica of the Paris Eiffel tower.
Antique children's toy on wheels.
Old pictures of the Eiffel tower.
US Statue of Liberty - top picture.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Chinese character of Family (Jia).
We don't know what is this red box.
Can someone tell me what is this cute thing?
We had fun with the mirrors.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?"
This one makes us tall and slim.
This one makes us fat and round.
This makes us short.
It also makes us fat!
Oh, my goodness! This makes us look like aliens, ha ha!!!
We had short, fat bodies and big, long heads and faces! Lol!
Okay, time to give others a chance with the mirrors....
Antique signboard.
Old fashioned steamboat pots or hot pots, hot water flask, kettle, etc.

Waxed paper umbrella and old fashioned camera with stand.

DeleteAn interesting place to visit. I see a big old fashion kettle like one that my daughter is looking for for the cottage's stove. They hold a large amount of water. W've been looking for one like that for some time.

Thank you, Julia. The old fashion kettle is made of aluminium and I have one at home too. It can a lot of water and gets heated up very fast. The mirrors were fun. Lol! Have a fabulous weekend!
