3 weeks ago, my foodie friend messaged me to invite me for lunch in Menglembu. She saw a friend of hers posted up in Facebook about this poached chicken inside Menglembu wet market.
She drove over to my house to pick me up and off we went on our foodie hunt. For the time being, our foodie focus is on Menglembu. There are so many good food available in Menglembu waiting for us to try out.
We started early about 11.15 am to scout out the place and also to avoid the crowd. It was bright and sunny for the first half of the day.
My friend knows Menglembu well and in a short time, she found this rice stall in the wet market. It is facing the pork stalls inside the wet market. The place may not be appealing for most people but food is very good.
We found a table and we ordered 2 poached chicken drumsticks.
I saw the BBQ pork looking good, ordered some for 2 people.
The chicken was perfectly poached. It was tender, moist and succulent.
The BBQ pork was quite tasty too.
Besides these, there are many other dishes to choose from.
People are queuing up to pack and take away the food.

We both ordered iced lemon juice, very refreshing.
It was a very satisfying lunch and we left the place fully contented.
Accompanied my friend to meet some documents to her client.
Sitting besides her as a passenger, I was free to take snapshots.
I snapped these fences to link up with Good Fences.

Neat and simple fence.
It took about 2 hours and a half for my friend to settle all her errands in town. After that, she drove to Jalan Medan Ipoh 1e, Medan Ipoh Bistari in Ipoh Garden East to enjoy the soya rice milk at "Makanan Traditional Taiwan".
I love this drink very much. This is our 2nd visit here. There are not many places serving soya rice milk.

Now God gives us many kinds of special abilities,
but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all.
There are different kinds of service to God,
but it is the same Lord we are serving.
