On Thursday evening, we went to our regular stall for dinner but found it closed. We then drove to another 2 more places and they were also closed.
It was not a festival day but it could be that it was an auspicious month for weddings and holding of wedding dinners.
It was end of November and someone here is very creative to come up with this great idea. The top of water plastic containers were used as lamp shades and curled with Christmas ornaments.
Our dinner has been served. We ordered Stir-fried Fiddlehead Ferns with Salted Egg (Paku Pakis in Malay). We usually order sambal stir-fried but this time I wanted to try it with salted egg. The sambal fried will be a better choice.
We ordered 2 glasses of apple juice at promotional rate. It was only about a week ago and I can't remember the price for the drink or the meal.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit,
who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own; you were brought at a price.
Therefore honor God with your bodies.
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20, New International Version-NIV)

DeleteYour fiddleheads looks so different than our fiddleheads. Our are from the Ostrich Fern, Matteuccia Struthiopteris. I love my fiddleheads with butter and my son in law like his with vinegar. The steamed chicken looks very tender and juicy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Nancy.
JB
