It rained the whole night till early next morning. When were started out for breakfast, it was still drizzling. We wanted to introduce wanton mee to our friends but unfortunately, the shop was closed due to roadworks in front of the shop. We then drove to Jalan Dato Tahwil Azhar to see if the Hakka noodle stall was opened for business and it was! The place was already filled except for 1 or 2 tables.
While waiting for the noodles (quite a long wait), we enjoyed our Bubur Cha Cha, a sweet dessert consisting of sweet potatoes, yam, black eye beans, sago, etc in coconut milk.
We were seated at the 5 foot way and then this heavy machinery came and started digging the road in front of the next door shop.
Those seated in front were all eyes on them.
I guess it was a burst or leaking water pipe.
Now where is our breakfast photos? All because I was so taken up by what was happening here,
Since I have no noodles photos to show you, I will share this noodle making machine with you. This was found in one of the coffee shops I visited some time back.
It is used for making Pan Mee or Ban Mee.
And here are some photos I have taken while I was at a biscuit shop.

DeleteThe noodle making machine is actually very pretty! Could be on display at a museum. Didn't the street work make a horrible noise? Would be hard to eat peacefully.
