We met up with friends in Ipoh old town but the place we wanted to have lunch was closed. We finally decided Indian food, and we took our friends to Mahraj's Kitchen at Jalan Sultan Yussuf, Ipoh. The last time we were here was when they newly opened. It has been a long time and this is our 2nd time here.
These are some of the food we ordered for 4 people.
(briyani rice, chicken curry, mutton curry, potato with cauliflower, fish curry).
Tandoor chicken and a fried fish (no photo of the fish)
We also ordered 2 pieces of chapatis and 1 dosai.
Plain water in stainless steel cup
Design on table cloth.

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is,
and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'
(Jeremiah 6:16, New International Version-NIV)
The wall paintings are so colourful and nice and depict the culture of the indian community, i like all the food that you all ordered

DeleteUnfortunately Nancy, I don't like Indian food, never have and never will. It just bothers my insides. Now I just love Chinese food. My friend's wife is Chinese and they take us to a real Chinese eatery.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Indian food is not for the weak stomachs, probably because of the strong spices.
