Dim Sum Breakfast Treat At Dim Sum Yuen, Ipoh.

For the first time, hubby and I had our early morning walking exercise at the Ipoh Polo Ground. At 6.30 am we picked up our friends and drove straight to the polo ground.
The walking path was wide and surrounding was very well maintained.
There were many groups gathered for various exercises.
Fast action exercise to the beat of the music.
Waiting for the sun to rise from behind the distance limestone hills.
As the sun rises, the glow of the sun lights up the sky
I stopped to take a snapshot of this man banging his back against the tree trunk. We did our rounds of walking, rested and it was time for breakfast.

True to our words, we revisited Dim Sum Yuen again.
We were one of the early customers. Plenty of parking space available.
Savoury glutinous rice shaped like pyramids.
Hong Kong style chee cheong fun (steamed flat rice rolls with bbq pork).
We also ordered 2 types of porridge: chicken and century egg.
Crispy bean curd sheet with prawn filling.
Pan fried white raddish cake.
A pair of black swan.
We have tried the brown swans on our previous visit.
Crispy taro skin with salted egg yolk and lotus bean paste filling.
Minced meat dumplings in superior soup.
Prawn dumplings in superior soup

Stuffed luffa or loofah with minced meat in superior soup
And the breakfast ended with a sweet dessert.
Steamed fluffy sponge cake.
Thank you to our dear friend for this dim sum treat.

Treat others as you want them to treat you.

  10. Oh, seems dangerous to bang the back against the tree trunk as a branch may break and fall on someone's head.

    1. I was worried the banging could cause the tree to fall on the others.

  12. The food is awesome looking! I love the swans! Are the head & neck edible, or only for decoration? But my favorites are your lovely shots of the limestone hills in the distance, waiting for the dawn.
