Yesterday morning (86th day MCO), we woke up early and were out of our house for our walk at about 6.20 am. Since we were early, we walked to the park to check the place.
There were not many people there and we were comfortable to use the park for our walking exercise.
We noticed there were a few policemen stationed by the roadside.
We did 2 rounds of walking and then we walked to the shop to collect the vegetable dumplings our friend bought for us.

For breakfast, I took 1 piece of dumpling or "choy kok", some biscuits and hot Nescafe. Hubby took 2 pieces of vegetable dumplings and hot Nescafe. He was meeting up with his friend for brunch later in the morning.
Papaya for our mid afternoon snack.

My appointment with my hairdresser was yesterday, 5 pm. I was the only customer and need not have to worry about social distancing.

Dinner
Hubby requested for pig's tail soup. Ingredient used were: pig's tail, black beans, peanuts, red dates, and goji berries. Hubby had steamed multi grain rice. Instead of rice, I ate all the peanuts and black beans.
Sea Hibiscus flower from the front of my house.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him,
and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful
supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.
But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you,
for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea
that is driven and tossed by the wind;
and every decision you than make will be uncertain,
as you turn first this way and then that.
If you don't ask with faith,
don't expect the Lord to give you any solid answer.

nice and delicious pig's tail soup! So it is only a person eating the rice and have to cook one person portion. I think I will be too lazy to do it..lol!
ReplyDeleteHahaha.. I can't deny him his rice since I can't convince him to eat oat porridge like me.
DeleteThe Sea hibiscus is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Riitta. Have a wonderful weekend too.
DeleteSlowly slowly we will get back our normal lives... but it is better to take precaution too..
ReplyDeleteJust as we have adjusted to the restrictions under MCO, now we will have to slowly readjust but somehow it will not be 100% normal as before MCO.
DeleteThe Hibiscus is very nice and the sky photos. What a delicious meal so different from mine!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, Elke

DeleteHello dear Nancy!
ReplyDeleteMe and my hubby go early In the morning for a walk or swimming!
I don’t feel comfortable seeing people not wearing a mask passing next to you!
Gorgeous pictures of the beautiful sunrise and the Sea Hibiscus!
Your meal looks delicious! Have a lovely weekend and stay safe!
Dimi...
The earlier the better because fewer people in the park. Have a lovely weekend too. Take care and stay safe.
DeleteYay, you get to walk in the park again. How nice the park is within walking distance of your house. Did you wear mask all the time when the hair dresser is working on your hair?
ReplyDeleteWe used to drive to the park for walking exercise and then drive back. Now we walk all the way to the park and back home again. Good exercise and save on the petrol. All safety guidelines observed during hair cut.
DeleteDefinitely very good to be walking to the park instead of driving because more exercise.
DeleteYes, its true.
DeleteIt is nice to be free again
ReplyDeleteNew found freedom with SOP to observe.
DeleteI was reading that same scripture this morning in a lesson on wisdom.
ReplyDeleteGreat skies, great food, my wife's hibiscus started flowering yesterday and it is going to be spectacular!!
Thank you, Yogi and have a wonderful weekend.
DeleteI'm so happy you finally got to go for a walk. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove your food. I'm hungry this morning.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Nancy. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. Have a fabulous weekend.
DeleteThat is a beautiful sea hibiscus. I don't see them here in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteIt is not as common as the other hibiscus.
DeleteVery pretty early morning sky shots! Glad you are able to get out. Stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a great weekend.
Deletedumpling or "choy kok" looks so unique....I love dumpling....yummy
ReplyDeleteI love choy kok dumplings but lazy to make.
DeleteEvery time I see those papayas on your blog my mouth waters. I love them, but very difficult to get here. Happy weekend, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane. I am thankful for the constant supply of papayas from my neighbour.
DeleteIt is so nice to be out and about early morning.
ReplyDeleteGo out early and return early before the sun gets too hot.
DeleteI notice that people who walk, run or ride bikes here choose to wear masks or not to wear masks. I put my mask on when I walk in the sand at Lake Michigan; but most people don't. But I am older and use a cane. So I don't choose to take risks. Your sea hibiscus is such a pretty color. I rarely eat papaya. It either isn't as plentiful at the grocery store or I have list and don't see it. 2020 I should put it on the list and look for papaya more. I love fruit! However, John my husband doesn't eat much fruit so I can only buy small amount.
ReplyDeleteWe don't wear mask when out walking in the open and not getting close to others. We wear mask when we go to the supermarket and other public places. If hubby likes the fruit, I will buy more. If he doesn't then I will buy enough for myself. Have a wonderful weekend.
DeleteThe sea hibiscus looks like the flower of the okra.
ReplyDeleteOo pig's tail is interesting to me. Would it have a lot of skin and fat?
I am not a fan of pig's tail because of the extra fat.
DeletePrecioso ese hibisco. Feliz fin de semana.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteFor pig's tail soup i will drink the soup but not eat the tail.
ReplyDeleteI will do the same too. I drank the soup, ate the beans and left the tail alone.
DeleteI used to love early morning walks but now days I can barely move, I have bursitis in my right hip and right shoulder
ReplyDeleteGo easy on your movement. Take care and stay safe.
DeleteHooray for walking in the park again!
ReplyDeleteYay! We will only walk in the park if we are early to avoid the crowd.
