Our friends found a coffee shop in Bercham that serves good coffee and good food. After our morning walk, we drove to our friend's house, and then proceeded to Bercham. We are required to write down our names and contact numbers or scan the QR code provided before entering the coffee shop. We found a table that can accommodate 4 people.

This place provides high quality coffee beans.
We have yet to try the different types of coffee.

So many variety to choose from.
Our friend ordered the simplest version for us to share.
Chee cheong fun with bbq pork.
We ordered from this stall.
They serve fried noodles, braised noodles, noodles in soup and fried rice.
I ordered a bowl of Ginger egg + home made meat balls to try.
The noodle and meat balls covered by the egg and ginger omelette
Have to push aside the egg + ginger omelette to reveal the noodle and meat balls. For extra flavour, we requested for additional Chinese wine.

Can't you hear the voice of wisdom?
She is standing at the city gates and at every fork in the road,
and at the door of every house.
Listen to what she says: "Listen, men!" she calls.
"How foolish and naive you are! Let me give you understanding.
O foolish ones, let me show you common sense!
(Proverbs 8:1-5, The Living Bible-TLB)

DeleteInteresting way of serving, with an omelette covering the top like that.
ReplyDeleteYes, the egg was fried exactly the size of the bowl to cover the noodle and everything underneath it.
DeleteGinger egg omelette with meatballs and noodles is something new to me.
ReplyDeleteWe mistaken this for the "confinement" noodle but it turned out different from what we expected.
