We started out on our morning walk at about 6:40 am. Reached the park and walked one round and went to our regular coffee shop for a cup of unsweetened coffee. I ate 2 sweet buns dipped in the coffee for breakfast.
The odd one out of line.
Walking back home to wait for our friends. Accompanied our friends to walk in the park for another 2 rounds and took them to the nearby coffee shop for breakfast.
Convenient for customers to scan the QR code which is placed on every table. Since hubby and I already had our breakfast, we ordered drinks only.
~~~~~
Lunch
I bought a packet of vegetable acar for RM3 to try.
Warm up the leftover winter melon soup from the previous day's dinner.
~~~~~
Having friends over for a simple take away dinner.
Hubby went out to buy chapati and dosai.
He also took along a food carrier to hold the chicken curry, sardine sambal, dhal gravy, and coconut chutney.
My friends contributed 4 tubs of 4 different types of durians. Specially bought these branded durians such as "Kunyit", "D2", "Susu", and "Ganja" for us to try.
We ate the durian as dessert after dinner.
A friend gave the thumb up when she ate the durian with curry gravy.
On our morning walks, we will pass by this plant on our way home. Can anyone help identify this plant?
Linking to Wordless Wednesday & My Corner of the World.
Different kinds of fruit trees can quickly be identified by examining their fruit.
A variety that produces delicious fruit never produces an inedible kind.
And a tree producing an inedible kind can't produce what is good.
So the trees having the inedible fruit are chopped down and thrown on the fire.
Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit produced.
(Matthew 7:17-20, The Living Bible-TLB)
I also started using QR and just scan. Less hassle.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Love the birds'photo. There is always an odd one out.
More convenient to use contactless app to scan.
Deleteeverywhere these days need to scan QR code and check-in...
ReplyDeleteI also had Indian roti recently (roti canai).
More people are using apps to scan QR code. I like roti canai too.
DeleteInteresting that you bought a lot of ready made foods, even during this pandemic time...is it a normal practice in Malaysia?
ReplyDeleteBefore pandemic, it is more convenient to eat out whenever we do not cook. Since pandemic, we got used to buying take away to eat in our own house.
