The following sky shots were taken in July before the rainy season started.
Sunrise at 6:57am.
7:05am
7:10am
7:17am
Golden sunrise at 7:26am.
Clear blue sky on the reverse side.
~~~~~
We drove out to town to buy breakfast.
Curry noodles and fried ingredients.
Dry curry noodle for hubby and curry soup version for me.
Hubby doesn't like mint leaves, so I had all the mint leaves.
Curry soup noodle with roast pork and bbq pork.
These fried ingredients were made by the boss and his wife.
Fresh and tasty.
Saw bottles of freshly made coconut jam (kaya) on a table. I bought one bottle as I am too lazy to make kaya these days.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
Chicken with home made glutinous rice wine.
I added wood fungus, red dates, gojiberries, and lots of pounded ginger.
Sauteed home grown snake beans with garlic and salt.
Red Huernia Oculata from my garden.
This is how the plant or succulent looks like. It grows easily. Just break off 1 section and lay it on the soil surface for it to root.
And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts,
living within you as you trust in him.
May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love.
(Ephesians 3:17, The Living Bible-TLB)
I love the curry noodles with lots of mint leaves. I always asked more mint for Assam Laksa.
ReplyDeleteThe cactus looks healthy but they are fragile.
I will get the extra mint from hubby's portion because he doesn't like mint leaves.
DeleteI buy Glory Brand kaya from Singapore, very nice. We do have one bakery here that makes very very good kaya but I am too lazy to drop by there. Anyway, I should not be eating all the sweet things so better don't buy.
ReplyDeleteYour curry noodles look so good!
You plant those snake beans too. We really should plant more types of vegetables as I have a big garden/compound, 13 points.
I love your photo of the golden sunrise at 7:26am. Very nice!
DeleteI used to make kaya but decided not to since we have to limited our intake of kaya too.

DeleteGreetings and Salutations! We are having a lot of gray days here also. Fires from Canada and the fires from the Boundary Waters, Minnesota aren't helping us enjoy blue skies. I feel very sad that so many people are experience loss of life and loss of homes and everything that they own. Your photos are simple and excellent. The food looks delicious. I haven't ever tasted kaya before. I think I would love it because I love coconut cakes and milk and drinks inside fresh coconuts. Yummy. Be safe.
