This was last Friday morning. It had been raining from the previous night till morning and it was still raining on and off when we drove out to town for breakfast. A friend recommended this place for breakfast. Since I haven't been to this place for a long time, we decided to give this place a try.
Hubby ordered shredded chicken flat rice noodle (koay teow). The taste according to him is "so, so only" and we have a tastier one in our area.
Hor Hee glass or transparent noodle (tung fun) for me.
One try is enough for me.
Looks nice but there was a "tak puas", not satisfied feeling.
On the way home after breakfast.
It continued to rain on and off the whole weekend.

For the Lord grants wisdom!
His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.
He grants good sense to the godly - his saints.
He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway.
He shows how to distinguish right from wrong,
how to find the right decision every time.
For wisdom and truth will enter the very centre of your being,
filling your life with joy.
(Proverbs 2:6-10, The Living Bible-TLB)
We had pork chops this evening.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
I like pork chops too.
DeleteWhat could be better than to eat this omelet on a misty foggy morning?
ReplyDeleteAnytime of the day we can have omelet.
DeletePity the breakfast wasn't up to your standard. But true, we could always find better taste elsewhere. At least we gave it a try.
ReplyDeleteThe braised pork treasure sure looked yummy.
Thank you, Rose. I am thinking of cooking this treasure pot but first I need to get some pork tendon.
DeleteNot nice, your breakfast? Looks good to me! If raining on and off, I would not want to go out, just eat what we have in the house. The dinner at Menglembu looks so good. We have not dined out for so long, hopefully, we'll go out for something really nice one of these days.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast looks nice but doesn't taste nice. We choose places for our dine out.
