Turtle Doves In The Shade Of My Porch

On morning from inside my house, I heard some noise outside my porch. I went to the window to check and saw 2 Turtle Doves cooing to each other. I stood at the window and took some snap shots as well as some short videos of the doves interacting with each other.

This is a short post as I will be away from the computer.
Wishing everyone good health and a wonderful weekend.

Don't be conceited, sure of your own wisdom.
Instead, trust and reverence the Lord, and turn your back on evil;
when you do that, then you will be given renewed health and vitality.
(Proverbs 3:7-8, The Living Bible-TLB)

  12. Funny - they sound and look different from "ours".
    Ours are known for spreading diseases and stealing food - we call them "flying rats". In East Germany they were even shot.
    They attack people, I was one of them, so I´m not that fond of them" ;-)
    And I didn´t even had food in my hands!!!
    Hope you enjoyed your time off and will be back soon!

    1. Thank you, Iris. So far these birds are not a nuisance to us. They keep to themselves even though they are not easily frighten of us.

    1. I don't mind the doves but I have common sparrows spending the night under the porch covering and leave their dropping on my car.
