This was one of the rainy days in the monsoon season.
Starting out on our morning walk at 7am.
7:05am
7:10am
7:15am
My breakfast at one of our regular coffee shop: croissant with butter+kaya and unsweetened black coffee. I was about to start eating the croissant when I suddenly remembered that I want to take a snapshot of my breakfast. Hubby ordered this usual: shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun).
Walking home after breakfast - 8:10am.
8:15am.
A friend coming to collect some pineapple baby plants from me.

Home cooked dinner.
Baked chicken wings.
I cut each chicken wings into 3 parts. I kept the tips of the wings for boiling soup or for stew. I collect the drummets and mid-section and marinated them with salt, oyster sauce and sugar before roasting them in the oven.
Delicious soup on a rainy evening.
Ingredients: 2 corn on cob, carrot, goji berries and pork ribs.
This was a no-rice dinner for hubby and I.
Linking to Wordless Wednesday & My Corner of the World.
We glide along the tides of time as swiftly as a racing river
and vanish as quickly as a dream.
We are like grass that is green in the morning but mowed down
and withered before the evening shadows fall.
(Psalm 90:5-6, The Living Bible-TLB)
Again beautiful food and wonderful skies!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Roentare.
DeleteWonderful sky pics! And the croissant!
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I never had chicken wings. Breast-type here, Ingo ends up with wings and legs ;-)
Thank you, Iris. Most of us here do not like chicken breast meat. My favourite part is the wings and hubby the thigh part. Only my youngest son love breast meat.
DeleteWe do enjoy baked chicken wings. Sometimes we use the oven, other times we use the air fryer. We never deep fry them!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to get the air fryer but until now have not done so.
DeleteThank you Nancy. Love your dinner of Baked Chicken Wings, Corn Soup & Malabar Spinach. I also don't need to eat rice with your 3 dishes above. I think you have grown malabar spinach before, right?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. Yes, very soon I will be growing malabar spinach again when I have the space.
DeleteMy kids like fried chicken wings more. But I thought once in a while having baked chicken is nice too. I like it. Delicious meal on a rainy evening.
ReplyDeleteI too like fried chicken wings but baking it is so much easier for me.
Delete...chicken wings have gotten so expensive here!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree.
DeleteA beautiful morning. A beautiful walk and delicious food all day. Excellent.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Nancy. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. Have a fabulous day too.
DeleteThat homemade dinner looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie.
DeleteThe sky photos are wonderful. I Love chicken wings and often make them when my friend visits me. Valerie

DeleteIn the fourth photo, I love how the leaves give the top of it a lacey look. Your shot of the mountains is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. I too like the 4th photo.
DeleteNancy I guess you know how to reproduce a pineapple by having a piece. I do not know if we will achieve a fruit but it is worth trying

Thank you, Norma for the video link. That is how I grow my pineapple.
DeleteMe encantan las fotografías del cielo. Me tomaría un poco de sopa, se ve super buena. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteI like the idea of sharing baby pineapple plants!
ReplyDeleteI do not have the space to grow more pineapple plants but my friend has.
DeleteI see a nice fat slice of butter in that croissant.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right. Lol!
