On Saturdays, I usually do not cook and we will take our dinner at Restoran Kam Wan in Ipoh Garden (opposite the Woolley Food City or Woolley Food Court). There are many varieties to choose from the many stalls there. Below are some of the food we have tried or taken.
This is the non-spicy noodle called "Lam Mee".
The popular curry noodles which my Taiping friends love to eat.

Local spring rolls (popiah) - there is always a queue at the stall.

There are times we also ordered BBQ meat (satay).
Grilled stingray fish (whole)
The Grilled fish stall.

And finally our hot favourite - Nasi Pandan or Pandan rice stall.
1 deep fried chicken drumstick + 1 rending chicken drumstick + sambal petai + 1 portion pandan rice = for hubby and I to share.

Some days we order sambal petai + curry chicken + stir fried 4 angled beans + pandan rice = to be shared by hubby and I.

Another day we ordered curry chicken + sambal petai + vegetable acar + pandan rice = to be shared by hubby and I.

Customers queuing up for the Pandan Rice.

Thank God for the clear blue sky and clean, fresh air to breathe. The Northeast monsoon season has started and it has been raining almost every afternoon.
If you obey all of my commandments,
I will give you regular rains, and the land will yield bumper crops,
and the trees will be loaded with fruit long after the normal time!
And grapes will still be ripening when sowing time comes again.
You shall eat your fill, and live safely in the land.
