For today's post, I take the opportunity to give thanks to Almighty God for the gifts and their giver. Besides these, I also thank God for everyone and everything that He blesses me with. And not to forget my blogger friends and readers too.
I also want to thank Him for all the good times and not so good times in the past, present and future. It is good to give thanks to God because He is love.
Here are some gifts I have received in recent months. I won't be mentioning names but they know who they are. Just to say thanks to the them.

We enjoy open invitation to visit and spend our holidays with the beautiful couple and owners of this wonderful place. Of course we have to call up to inform and make the necessary arrangement.
This big bungalow faces a big lake and the place is vast and serene.
I can remember how we used to talked until the wee hours of the morning.
Thank you for your loving hospitality!
Thank you for these cute puppies. You have hand made them so beautifully. We are not keeping any dog and these will be my pets.
May you continue to bless others with your gifts and talents!
These pair of gifts were brought all the way from the north.
These are glutinous rice dumplings.
Thank you, my dear friend for having us in your thoughts.
Special delivery all the way to my house by this young lady. These are homemade mooncakes. The one on the left is the chilled white ping pei with durian paste filling. The one on the right is the baked mooncake with white lotus filling.

White lotus paste with melon seeds filling. Very good!
Thank you also for remembering us.
I used these 2 hibiscus to represent 2 mooncakes another lady friend gave me.
I have cut and eaten the mooncakes and have no photos to show.
Anyway, I appreciate and thank you for the mooncakes.

And the same lady gave me this cute little thing.
She told me it is called Golden Hen Plant or Pokok Ayam Mas.
I don't know whether it will grow or not but I planted it anyway.

According to the Indigenous people, this golden hen plant has healing benefits. The brown or golden fiber is used to dress cut wounds to bring healing in a short time as claimed by the seller. Tourists buy them for decoration and some for medical purposes.
I also want to thank those whose names are not mentioned here.
Those who have given me stem cuttings and seeds for my garden.
Those who have given their time and make me laugh.
It is my joy to be able to say Thank You!
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,
let us be thankful, and so
worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
(Hebrews 12:28, NIV)
How sweet, Nancy! I think it is so important to give thanks! I think it is sad that we live in a day and age where many people seem to have forgotten "please" and "thank you". It costs nothing, is polite and means so much. Lovely post and your photos have touched me! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
