It was only last week I was here at Pusat Makanan Ye Sing, Jalan Dato Haji Megat Khas, Ipoh. It is next to Paragon Hotel, Ipoh, near to Kg. Simee. I was with my foodie friends for the Siamese Laksa and Assam Laksa. This afternoon I was back here again with hubby, also to enjoy both the laksa.
This was our appetizing lunch.
While we were enjoying our laksa, a lady told us that we should also try the chee cheong fun on the trishaw. The chee cheong fun starts business about 1.00 pm.
On our way home, we passed by the stadium and hubby wanted to check out some home products on exhibit.
Stadium Indera Mulia - Ipoh's Indoor Stadium.
Opposite is the outdoor stadium.
I took a quick snapshot of the front of the stadium and went back indoor. As we entered, we were told to register at the counter to receive a free gift.
These are the free gifts we received at the counter. These cute bunnies kitchen timers will come in useful for me.
The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and
is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize
what is wrong in our lives;
it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.

Nancy your food is diffferent from Polish one. The bunnies are lovely...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gosia. Yes, just like your food is different from ours. Have a beautiful weekd!
DeleteI want to try those fried soya bean squares! Never seen anything like that..
ReplyDeleteAngie, they are very crispy. Have a beautiful week!
DeleteI have to tell you that I had to Google most of your food as I didn't know what they were. So glad you enjoyed your meal.
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are great despite the weather.
hugs
BJ, lol! I hope by now you would have known more of our food. Thank you, BJ, have a beautiful week!
DeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI like Assam Laksa too ! Oh those cutie bunnies!
This place, I will go for the Siamese Laksa!
DeleteOh yummy on the food. You do eat so very well.
ReplyDeleteI hate the haze. We are still in harvest here and the dust is flying. Everyone is coughing and congested. I'll be glad when we can get some clean air to breathe.
Have a fabulous day Nancy. ☺
Oh yes, Sandee. Over here the weather is just as bad. Have a beautiful week!
Deletemy all time favourite siamese laksa :) there is another one in Hollywood coffee shop that sells siamese laksa...good too...we will slurp down the gravy hahaha
ReplyDeleteMy favourite too. I have tasted the Hollywood Siamese laksa too.. Not easy to get good, tasty Siamese laksa and assam laksa nowadays.
DeleteThe curry and assam laksa both look delicious. I could eat them if not so spicy.
ReplyDeleteThese are very spicy at all. To me, they are very mild so you will be able to enjoy them.
DeleteWhat great kitchen timers, a wonderful gift.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas. A very useful gift to a forgetful person!
DeleteI liked everything, Nancy! Those fried soya squares were posted for me. Yum. I really like hazy days. So much very bright sun here. Beautiful stadium; must have been a fun day. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear. The only good thing about hazy days is that it is not hot because we couldn't even see the sun!
DeleteThe haze looks really bad.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is getting from bad to worse. It is very hazardous.
DeleteThe haze looks terrible, Nancy! The food looks great, and I love the fountain! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. I love that fountain too!
DeleteYou're making me hungry with your dishes Nancy, yum! I'm very sorry about all the haze. I hope it finally clears soon for you and all the others who suffer.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joyful. Due to the haze, we have stopped our walking exercises until it clears up.
DeleteCute bunnies!! And I would love to have some water feature in my back yard too. ^^
ReplyDeleteHaze is bad over there so you do take care. Stay indoor and drink more fluid. Wear mask if go out.
Kuching has been enjoying good weather since last week. Hopefully stay like this!!
Thank you, Rose. I do hope that Kuching will be clear of haze and for us over here, hoping to see it clears off too.
DeleteYou have me salivating over the laksa, Nancy! It looks delicious. I'm craving for one now.
ReplyDeleteHope the haze clears away soon. There is little improvement at my corner. Take care! :)
Sharon, over here the haze condition is still the same. Very gloomy situation!
DeleteI am hungry looking at the laksa. My wish to have a garden like this too. Nice free gifts.
ReplyDeleteI am also dreaming a garden like this, where we can sit and relax.
DeleteNever tried Siamese Laksa before, got chance, will loves to try that...
ReplyDeleteIts one of my favourite. Very few stalls selling this nowadays.
DeleteSo far, i also not tried Mung beans + barley sweet drink (tong sui), usually it just mung bean alone, or barley sweet drink, have not tried mixed before...
ReplyDeleteSharon, surprisingly it tastes good, better when boiled separately.
DeleteAsam laksa would be nice.
ReplyDeleteHere very hazy too. Wish it would rain
Today's haze is worse.
DeleteNancy, given a choice I would have asam laksa. No, I want both hah..hah... Kitchen timers are very useful. I use them quite often so that I don't forget about my dish in the oven or over boil my eggs!
ReplyDeleteHa ha...not easy to decide which laksa to take.
DeleteExcelente reportagem.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.
Thank you, Francisco. Have a wonderful Monday!
DeleteI heart the rabbit timers!
