Sunday Lunch At Restoran Chong Say Kee, Bercham.

After our Sunday church service, together we went out for lunch with my hubby's childhood friends. Someone suggested Restoran Chong Say Kee which is famous for its roasted duck. The name of the restaurant sounds familiar. When I saw the restaurant, I remembered that my ex-colleagues and I were here once before.
Half a roasted duck.
A plate of roasted pork. The skin was very crunchy.
These were more fat than what we preferred.
Two more bowls of sweet sour stewed veggie.
We called it "choy keok", a great appetizer.

These are our lunch for 5 people.
Some customers like us will have our lunch at the restaurant.
Some will pack and take away.
After our lunch, we parted and we were to meet again on Monday morning
(next morning) for a day trip to Cameron Highlands.

Wishing all my readers
A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

A few days later Mary hurried to the highlands of Judea
to the town where Zacharias lived, to visit Elizabeth.
At the sound of Mary's greeting, Elizabeth's child leaped within her
and she was filled with the Holy Spirit.
She gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary,
"You are favored by God above all other women,
and your child is destined for God's mightiest praise.
(Luke 1:39-42, TLB)

  4. Just "choy keok" for me, I can finish my rice in a jiffy. The duck looks good but the roasted pork, give it a pass as they are too fatty for my liking.
