Our Thursday's meals were simple ones. There was no lovely sunrise that morning after the previous night's heavy downpour.
My purple Periwinkle bush
My cassava or tapioca plants in front of my house.
~~~~~
We had buns given by a friend with hot milo and coca drinks for breakfast.
For lunch, we had homemade steamed minced pork buns.
~~~~~
Dinner
We had homecooked stewed duck, leftover fried chicken wings, angled loofah and steamed rice for our dinner.
~~~~~
Even though I didn't have any sunrise shots, I managed to capture some sunset shots that evening.
Sunset at 5:25 pm
My house faces north and this was taken at 5:27:28 pm.
How constantly I find myself upon the verge of sin;
this source of sorrow always stares me in the face.
With the 3rd MCO movement, we are really used to staying at home whole day now...
ReplyDeleteI don't mind staying at home the whole day but I do miss my early morning walk at the park.
Thank you, Eileen. Have a great weekend too.
DeleteYour periwinkles are very pretty. They remind me of the kindergarten that I attended when I was a child. There were lots of periwinkles grown there though they were the light pink ones.
ReplyDeleteThank you, PH. Happy weekend.
DeleteI am salivating at your loofah dish for dinner cos I love to eat loofah. Do you eat the tapioca young leaves? I heard some people do eat them.
ReplyDeleteI too have heard that the young tapioca leaves can be eaten but I haven't tried. Maybe I will pluck some to try one of these days.
DeleteThe tapioca plant looks healthy. The only kind of tapioca I know is the kind we used to be served for school lunch, round pearl grain cooked in milk similar to rice pudding made the same way. Some folk like it and others not. Tasty looking food and beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a wonderful weekend.
DeleteSuch beautiful sunsets Nancy. Keep safe my friend.
