Nasi Lemak, Taro Puffs & Chicken With Pineapple

This was Monday, 4th day MCO 2.0. We did our morning walk and stop to buy 2 packets of nasi lemak from one the shops. Then we walked over to pass one packet of nasi lemak to our friend. While there, hubby bought iced black coffee (unsweetened) to takeaway.

Cheap and tasty Nasi Lemak @ RM1.50
Besides the rice, there is spicy sambal, 2 fried anchovies, fried peanuts, a small wedge of hard boiled egg, and a small piece of cucumber.
No nasi lemak for me. I prefer to take baby oats with pine nuts and cranberries.
Our breakfast.
Hubby had his iced black coffee, and I had Nescafe Gold.
Taro puffs for our lunch.
Our friend dropped by our house to pass us the taro puffs on her way home the previous night after she closed her stall.

Home cooked dinner.
I had half a pineapple in my fridge. It was sour so I decided to use it to cook a dish for dinner.
Chicken breast meat with pineapple - sweet, sourish and spicy.
Blanched broccoli, drizzled with garlic oil and soy sauce.
Appetizing dinner for 2 people.
Evening sky at 6:55pm
I took this sky shot when I took the garbage out after dinner.

In a wealthy home there are dishes made of gold and
silver as well as some made from wood and clay.
The expensive dishes are used for guests,
and the cheap ones are used in the kitchen or to put garbage in.
If you stay away from sin you will be like one of these dishes
made of purest gold - the very best in the house - so that
Christ himself can use you for his highest purposes.

  11. A good variety of food that you have there. I noticed that usually your heaviest meal is dinner, is that correct?

  18. I must try cooking chicken with pineapple like that. I always love the sourish sweetish taste that pineapples bring to a dish.

  19. That kind of nasi lemak is one of my all-time favourite foods. While oats.... my small pack is still sitting in the fridge. It has lived over a year in there hehe.
