The Golden Girls had a foodie outing last month. This time, the chosen venue was Jun Cuisine, Jalan Haji Eusoff, Housing Trust and it was brought to our attention by one of the Golden Girls. Since we are now all retirees, we can choose a weekday for our outing to avoid the weekend crowd.

We were informed that they were in the midst of completing their menu.
Since there were 4 of us, we decided to order 4 set lunches to share.
Set 1 - Saba Shioyaki with rice @ RM 16.80
Set 2 - Tonkatsu (pork) with tartar sauce with rice @ RM 17.00
Set 3 - Chicken Katsu with tartar sauce with rice @ RM 16.80
The pork and chicken katsu not much different.
Set 4 - Unagi Don @ RM 26.80
Out of the 4 sets, the Unagi Don was the most flavourful.
Each set comes with a bowl of salad.
It also includes seaweed pickle and soup.
Plus a small bowl of udon noodle soup.
The sets also come with a bowl of rice each.
We shared a bowl of rice and returned the other 3 bowls.

We ordered 4 sets of Chawanmushi (Japanese egg custard).
Hot green tea for 3 that comes in this cute teapot
and 1 cold green tea.
The set lunches also include 1 scoop of ice cream.
Total cost of our lunch for 4 people = RM 99.40
