Dinner At New TS VIP Restaurant @ Ipoh City & Country Club, Ipoh.

One of our church friends called up to invite us to join a group for a Chinese set dinner. A set dinner is usually prepared for 10 people. This is a promotion set dinner costing about RM 400 per set.

The dinner was booked for Monday evening which was a nice cool evening. We looked forward to joining this group not just for dinner but also for fellowship because most of us do not have the time to stay back after church. Our dinner consists of the following:
#1 - Four Hot & Cold Combinations
This is the way it was served.
Snapshot taken from another angle. This set is enough for 12 people.
The following are close up of the 4 combination.

d) Bacon roll with sticky sauce.
#2 - Roast piglet with mantou or steamed bun.
#3 - Steamed King Garoupa with soy sauce.
#4 - Mongolian Curry Chicken Bread & "Wen Chang" Rice
a) "Wen Chang" claypot rice
b) Server cutting the bread
b) Mongolian curry chicken wrapped with aluminium foil enclosed inside the bread.

We had a good dinner and wonderful fellowship.
We are looking forward to the next dinner.

But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ does,
then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other,
and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin.

Most days the temperature is between 30 to 33 deg. C.
This was the morning sky view at 7.43 am.
 Evening sky at 7.26 pm
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.
It burst forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding.
It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end.
Nothing can hide from its heat.

Simple And Tasty Meals At The MIA Noodle House, Menglembu

I was first introduced to this place in Menglembu by my ex-colleagues who brought me here for breakfast one morning. I am always happy to see my ex-colleagues and it is so kind of them to remember the retirees even though we have retired. It is good to be able to meet up once in a while to keep our nurture our friendship.

BREAKFAST - with ex-colleagues.
A bowl of Fried Chili Ban Mee.
2 slices of toasted white bread served with 2 slices of butter and
egg & coconut milk jam (egg kaya).
Ban mee (noodle) in soup with deep fried anchovies, fish balls and greens.
Spring rolls. Photo taken after half have been eaten.

LUNCH
About a week after I came back from my holidays, I called up my friend to make a lunch date with her and her hubby. We came here for a quick lunch. This time we ordered the lunch set.
Assam Fish Curry set.
With rice - normal sized portion, special with half lime and lettuce.
Braised Pork Belly with Wood Fungus.
White rice - a normal sized portion.
 The above as a set.
Grouper fish slices with young ginger slices and spring onions + white rice.
Too taken up with our conversation, jokes and laughter,
I didn't remember to note down the prices for all the above orders.

LUNCH
I came back another day for a simple lunch with hubby.
Sambal Fried Rice @ RM5.80
Fried Chili Ban Mee @ RM5.00.

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and
heard so that you may have fellowship with us.
And our fellowship is with the Father
and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
