This was last Friday. The day started with a gloomy gray sky.
Morning sky at 7:25am
Hubby went to buy fried noodle while I stopped at a new stall to buy 2 curry puffs for RM1.
I was watching a cooking video and it has to do with olive vegetable. I was curious, so I bought 1 bottle to try. I took out a bit to eat with my oat porridge (above). I still prefer the crunchy texture of the pickled lettuce.
I had a pleasant surprise that morning when I was watering my plants in the garden. I looked up the banana tree and saw that it has budded. Sometime last year, a friend gave me a baby banana plant because I want to plant one in a pot just for its leaves.
A few months later, I changed my mind and thought of cutting it down but kept putting it off.
It looks like a type of banana (pisang awak) that is only good for cooking or frying and not nice to eat fresh when ripen.
I am curious to see how the bananas will turn out and decide whether I still want to cut it down.
I have been watching the progress of the formation of the bananas.
So far, I can see 3 small combs of bananas.
For these, I am thankful.
For dinner, we had leftover food from the previous day's dinner. In addition to the stuffed items, I also make fried dumplings (sui kao) with the extra filling. It was a no rice dinner because we wanted to finish all the leftovers.
This Good News tells us that God makes us ready
for heaven - makes us right in God's sight - when we put
our faith and trust in Christ to save us.
This is accomplished from start to finish by faith.
As the Scripture says it,
"The man who finds life will find it through trusting God."
(Romans 1:17, The Living Bible-TLB)
