Over in Singapore, my friends took us to Bugis Village. I remembered Bugis Street from one of my early visits to Singapore. That was about 39 years ago. It was then known internationally for its nightly gathering of trans women which made it one of the top tourist destinations during that time. In mid 1980's Bugis Street underwent major urban redevelopment and this is what I saw on my recent visit.
This was where we saw the lookalikes of Kim & Trump.
They were at the far end of this passage.
There was a big crowd surrounding them.

It says "Bugis Village" (up on the wall)
We were preparing to cross over to the other side.
My friends led the way and I just followed.
We stopped to buy some curry puffs for snack.
Interesting to see them cooking behind the glass partition.
Bread and pastries
We needed a rest and stopped for a drink at the Food Junction.
Looking down from above, we could see the lookalikes of Kim and Trump!
The lookalikes of Kim and Trump having their own summit down there.

People queued up to take photos with the lookalikes of Kim and Trump.
Behind the crowd is the Intercontinental Hotel.
Food Junction where we had our drinks.
Back at the Singapore check point.
Just look at the number of motorcyclists queuing up to cross over to Johor Bahru.
An old antique motorcycle at the Qing Xin Ling cultural village.

There is an old saying that "A dog comes back to what he has vomited,
and a pig is washed only to come back and wallow in the mud again."
That is the way it is with those who turn again to their sin.
