It is Monday here again. It is now 1:45am here. I just got up to take some biscuits and warm milk. Since I am fully awake now, I might as well put up my post at this time in the early morning. Sitting here in the afternoon is a bit warm even with the fan blowing.
Sunrise at 7am.
The weather is warm but with some rain on certain days.
Cranberry Hibiscus which is no longer in my garden due to neglect.

I was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, 8th July morning. My next pre-chemo blood test will be on Friday, 21st July and my next chemo treatment (7th) in the hospital will be on Monday, 24th July.
While in hospital, I was told that even after I finished my 9 doses of chemo treatment, I will probably need to further continue on my chemo treatment on and off depending on the CTScan results. And looking at both my hands, the blood veins may not be able to take all the branula needle insertions for the chemo treatment. Earlier I was worried about the risks but now after much consideration, I have agreed for the chemo port insertion and pray that there will be no complication. The process for the insertion will take some time and an appointment date will have to be secured.
Thank God my back pain has lessen and I can get up and out from bed, stand and walk with less struggle and pain. Thank God for all your prayers and thoughts for me.
This photo was taken in July, 2022 when I was still active in my garden.
It is a black bird but I do not know its name. Is it a black crow?
This mural was found painted behind a row of shop houses along Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly named Hugh Low Street), Ipoh.
I Trust In Jesus
Lord for what now do I wait, Christ the hope that shall not fade
Take my heart this flesh these bones, Trust I place in You alone
Light the path on darkest day, Guide my feet if I would stray
Grant me strength if I should roam, Ever homeward to Your throne
I trust in Jesus and only Jesus, He is the name above all names
My strength and refuge, My firm foundation
And I will worship Him forevermore
Mountains of the earth may fade, Yet the love of God remains
Storms will rage and oceans rise, Christ alone will turn the tide
Resting in His loving arms, This I know with all my heart
Death can never take its hold, Grace will never let me go
I trust in Jesus and only Jesus, He is the name above all names
My strength and refuge, My firm foundation
And I will worship Him forevermore
Come all sons and daughters rise, Lift your praise beyond the skies
Every nation now proclaim, Glory to our risen King
Bow before His righteousness, Christ is Lord our tongues confess
Justified the sinner saved, Glorify His holy name
I trust in Jesus and only Jesus
He is the name above all names
My strength and refuge, My firm foundation
And I will worship Him forevermore
O I will worship You
I will worship You with all my heart
And all my soul

Best, best wishes from here!
Clever mural, too.

DeleteYour hibiscus flower is beautiful. Sorry you lost it. I have lost some of mine plants that are perennials. Sad. Including hydrangea. I hope to get one next year once I get find a spot to plant it. I am glad you are getting through chemo for your cancer. It took almost 15 minutes to get a needle in my arm for hydration when I was in the ambulance in May. Being dehydrated isn't the best! Continued prayers and blessings to you!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becky for your prayers and blessings.
DeleteTwo of my relatives also had a chemo port inserted. I hope your procedure goes well and the chemo port will ease having to poke needle into your arm. I wish you continued wellness and may God protect you and shine his healing light upon you.

Thank you, Muhammad for your well wishes.
DeleteNancy, you are doing great, continue to be positive and leave the rest to our Good Lord Jesus! As for the chemo port, it should be alright, a common procedure... at least let your veins rest and get restored back to normal soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Claire. I will leave the procedure to our Lord to lead and direct.
DeleteI hope the port insertion goes well and it will definitely be a good thing for your veins. I'm glad your back is feeling better and good luck for your next treatment.

Thank you, Julia.
DeleteI really can understand what you are going through. It has been almost 19 months battle for me. I didn't choose the chemo port as I had other worries and issues. Now is my 3rd round chemotherapy and my tail bone aches terribly. I have found the Yoko Yoko (4 times strength) sold at pharmacies very helpful. Stay strong and have faith in your prayers.
ReplyDeleteInitially I didn't choose the chemo post because of worry about risks that might happen. Anyway, I will take it one step at a time and see how it goes. It will take a while for the chemo port to be inserted as I will have to wait in queue.
DeleteI always pray for your treatment...and see every post that you share here to know you in a good condition...God bless you Nancy...
ReplyDeleteand i like the lovely color of hibiscuss...it has a nice color's leaf too...
Thank you, MK for your prayers. God bless you too.
